2013: The Year in Review

It was a fantastic year for new projects and new clients alike here at cre8.

After we just completed the rebranding for AEP Energy's website last year, they had us get started on the next phase of their website. We ported their website to a content management system (CMS) for easier internal updates, as well as making the website responsive, aka mobile friendly.

Earlier in the year, CBOE was looking to move away from their current blogging setup and move to an easier to use, standalone, blog website. We responded with a WordPress-based, responsive design and added in an RSS-fed daily newsletter. While we were putting this together, their CBOE 40th anniversary celebration was going on, so a page was created for that as well.

Long time client IASG launched Insight, a portfolio app for their customer's commodity trading advisor (CTA) accounts. Integrated with multiple futures clearing merchants (FCMs) the tablet-friendly app brings clarity to client's account performance and reporting.

From across the pond, we rose to the challenge of helping Moventas and their rebrand for Santasalo. The tight timeline required us to build out a new CMS-based website for the Finnish company in time for their December announcement.

After completing the ReverseMortgage.org website for the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA), they asked us to help give their National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) website a refresh and a new CMS. The new website features service provider listings as well as local chapter listings.

Another reverse mortgage related project came our way, via Urban Financial of America. We redesigned their wholesale website with their new brand and ported their content to a new CMS. The B2B website is focused on brokers and has a secure area for training and other documents.

And that wraps up our review. We're looking forward to more great projects in 2014!
